Mitten Tree 2019

November Beta Gamma Epsilon Meeting Fun

The annual Mitten Tree placed by Phi Theta Kappa in collaboration with Psi Beta was decorated at the November meeting. Mittens are ready to be taken off the tree and include facts about hunger in our world, affecting students and statistics and facts about Stark State’s own pantry. Created by Psi Beta, the award winning pantry was created by students for students. Beta Gamma Epsilon celebrates student leadership, giving and service our fellow students show every day with pantry offerings.

An officer meeting and then our regularly scheduled PTK meeting included a fun family meal with an excellent Chili recipe from our Vice President Brian Melio, delicious home made buns by Gertrude Muthumbi, apple pie by our webmaster Andrea Young and snacks brought in by members. A college representative joined our member meeting to discuss the benefits of transfer scholarships available.
