Graduation Information and Volunteers Needed
Attention Graduates: If you are graduating this semester, you have earned the privilege of wearing a gold honor stole and tassel at Commencement recognizing your superior scholastic achievement. The stole and tassel, along with your cap and gown are available at the College Bookstore. There is no additional charge for the gold tassel; however, a $10.00 refundable deposit is required for the gold stole. Cash & checks only can be accepted. The gold tassel is yours to keep. (The stole and tassel that are available in the College Store are what have been approved by our Graduation Committee for Phi Theta Kappa to wear with your cap and gown at commencement.) You have the option of keeping the gold stole or returning it by Thursday, January 31 for a full refund. Refunds cannot be given after January 31, 2019. If you are receiving a certificate, this does not apply to you. There is a separate ceremony for Certificates and you do not wear the stole/tassel.
Volunteers needed: We still need 2-3 more volunteers to be Graduation Marshals for Fall 2018 Graduation on Sunday, January 6, at 2:00 p.m. at the Canton Civic Center. If you are interested in helping pass out programs, please let Shari know as soon as possible so that she can pass your name on to Edie Christ who is coordinating all the Graduation Marshals. You will be asked to arrive around noon to begin passing out the programs. You are welcome to stay for the ceremony.
