Meet Randy Shipman!

On July 14th 2023 aboard the Valley Gem Riverboat on the Ohio River our Chapter President, Tammy Monroe and Chapter Webmaster, Benjamin Nash had the honor of inducting Randy Shipman into our chapter as the newest honorary member.

From his induction ceremony:

“Randy is married to Lisa Shipman, past regional officer. He is a veteran Marine, retired fire captain, and outdoorsman.

We are told he is the reason Lisa went back to school to pursue a college degree. On her journey, she joined Phi Theta Kappa and Randy became her biggest supporter. Since the Shipmans live in Northeast Oklahoma, it is quite a journey to Ohio for regional meetings. However, Randy always made sure Lisa was able to be in attendance. Randy has been a major supporter of our society, and has embraced our 4 hallmarks. For this reason, we shall now induct him as an honorary member.”
